So I have to go to the barn in a moment, and then I have to come back soon, because I've got three works in a juried show and the reception is this afternoon.  I do really need to be there.  :-)

There are currently four paintings in progress here in my little upstairs room.  The pears, the landscape with the big tree, the sunny pumpkin, and a bright happy pomegranate-thing.  Which I was just playing with a minute ago but must quit now because, you know, barn.

It's sunshiny here this morning and I am pretty happy.  Will look forward to catching up with everyone around five when I'm home again.

Hi, I am new to fandom (but saw the show since it started) and I just got back into reading fanfic since years ago, and thought I'd give House/Wilson fic a try! So, here goes...

-Any really good, in-character H/W fic that is fairly long (not just a drabble) where they are in a relationship or like in the show have UST
-Anything over-the-top angsty, dealing with House's pain, relationship problems, anything that is missing scenes from the Mayfield hospital, or anything where House is taking Cutner's suicide especially hard.
-This may sound harsh, but I like to read the most descriptive and gritty HC out there. I like rape/non-con (even if it's House taking Wilson without consent), really dark kinky sex, suicidal/depressed/self-injury/etc., drug abuse, even deathfic. (Anything that is dark but Gen fic is okay too!)

Any recs are greatly appreciated! :)

It does take a second look to see the beauty of the writing of season 5, especially since we all got soooo distracted by the Huddyness that was sprayed all over that season. However, I took the time to rewatch and must say: Kudos to those writers. Those who fear that the writers don't know what they're doing, trust me, they DO. And they will steer our ship into the harbor of loooooove. ^^

시험 끝났다!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

그동안 미뤄 왔던 와치맨 봤다!

히어로즈물은 잘 보지 않는 편이었는데 아카츠키 씨를 포함해서 Drawr에 있는 많은 분들이 좋아하고 있는 작품이라서 흥미를 가지게 됐습니다.
결론은 재밌었다!!!! 미국 사회와 정부에 대해 그리고 이런저런 제너럴한 문제에 대해 고찰을 하게 해주는 영화였습니다. 원작도 보고싶어지네ㅠㅠ
요전에 Farenheit 451을 읽었는데 그래서 그런지 정부의 간섭이나 검열로 인해 일어나는 폭력도 왠지 생각났고 그랬다. 정부를 넘어서서 개인적인 집단까지 내란을 숨기고 모든 시민을 속여가며 결국엔 파멸로 이끈다는 얘기라던가... (나중에는 정도를 주체할 수가 없게 돼고.. 와치멘들은 누가 감시하는가, 라는 말도 와닿았다) 그런 것도 약간 "검열"이라는 주제에 대해서 은근히 들어맞는 점이 있던 것 같기도.... 결국 정부의 오용으로 인해 취지가 점점 변하고 결국에는 추락해 평상적인 삶으로 돌아가거나 혹은 "평상적"인 삶에 적응하지 못하고 타락하는 와치맨이라던가. 사회적 이슈를 reference로 하고 이렇게 멋진 작품으로 만든게 놀라울 따름이었다bb! 재밌게 봤습니다.

Rorschach 귀여웠다. "You're a good friend" ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 짱이야ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 완전!!!!!!!! 귀여워!!!!!!!!!!!!
폭력적이고 어렸을 때의 환경으로 인해서 많이 비뚤어 졌지만 확실히 정의를 추구하고 바꾸려는 모습이 어떻게 보면 어린애 같아서 귀여웠다(그리고 그 "어린애"의 모습은 확실히 모에였습니다.. 여전히 무서웠지만) 그리고 왠지 모르겠지만 뭔가 버진스멜을 맡을수 있었다. 버진스멜. 버진스멜.
저렇게 폭력적인 주제에 약도 안하고 섹스에도 관심없는 모습이라니.... 이런 컨셉에 체리보이라는 이미지도 빠지면 안된다구?☆

코메디언도 너무 좋았다. 아 난 이런 나쁜 남자가 울때 약해진다구...................................... 할아버지긴 하지만... 비록 초반 씬에서 죽었긴 하지만............ 응...................
